OWOW Water Studies Minor Information

The Water Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary field of study that provides a holistic, highly interactive program. The curriculum is designed to facilitate water studies education to students from a wide range of co-curricular programs. A grade of C or better must be earned in each course required for the minor. Students should note that programs differ in the minimum grade required.

Water Studies Minor students must fulfill the following requirements:

Total Hours Required for the Water Studies Minor: 18 Credits

JMP 3570 Covering the Environment (offered in Spring Semester), 3 Credits

                                                        OR

HIS 3426 Water and the American West (offered in Fall Semester), 3 Credits

 

MGT/ENV 3250 Colorado Water & Water Law Administration (offered in Spring Semester), 3 credits

                                                       OR

ENV 4410 Water Law (offered in Fall Semester), 3 Credits

                                                       OR

ENV 4200 Environmental Policy and Planning (offered in both Fall and Spring Semesters), 3 credits

 

GEG 1910 Global Water Concerns (offered in both Fall and Spring Semesters), 3 credits

                                                       OR

ENV 3400 Water Resources (offered in both Fall and Spring Semesters), 3 Credits
